HUD Moving On Its Own
Hey,
Has anyone (after storing their HUD position under seat memory and using the same key) noticed their HUD position changing without them doing anything. Its not even after a set time its done it twice at random in the past couple of weeks I get in and the HUD will be too high (I think on both times) and I've had to set it back down and do the memory save again. Is it just my car being quirky?

Do you have your driver profile locked?

Going to check this now, don’t think so, I definitely never locked it and had a full system reset when I bought the car so unless that’s the default ... will go have a look!
Thanks

Mine has always done this since delivery 3 years ago. It moves to the top of it's travel. It happens mainly if the car is unlocked and relocked a few times without being driven. Just press the seat memory button and it comes back into place...

Counterintuitively, locking the profile enabled the various settings of the car, associated with the profile, to actually work the way they are supposed to. For example, before our profiles were locked, the seats and mirrors would not move, to our preferred positions.
Maybe, the HUD position will stay where you want it, if the profile is locked. Just a hunch, but worth trying. The downside, if there is one, is that you have to manually save any changes to the key.

Gonna play with this, interesting on the car memory button thing! Going to press it next time the HUD went haywire.
Do you think this is a software update issue? Must be software I guess!

There was a software update to fix this problem some time ago. Maybe check with your dealer?
