Needle bearings went in transmission
Hello,
Got a left Drive Shaft replacement 2 months ago: I bought this aftermarket part from this store. It is hard to find drive shaft for my volvo, because It equipped with the GM 4T65EV transmission. But finally I found this. https://www.polar-parts.co.uk/Drive-...VOLVO_10004831 On the left side the transmission oil started to leak. Then we replaced the SEAL: I bought VOLVO ORIGINAL seal... https://www.volvofan.eu/p7389.html After 1 month, It started to leak AGAIN. --- Guess what happened, the aftermarket axle / shaft was too cheap quality, and even the brand new seal leaked with it.... In addition the shaft / axle caused explosion of support bearing for the cv shaft hub: https://globaltransmissionparts.com/...plate-bearing/ Photo: https://imgur.com/LlQcKt5 Some needles went into transmission and caused noise when car in park or in neutral: https://streamable.com/kxcbge --- Questions: Can we take out the bearings with a transmission flush? Without dismantle the whole tranny? Or will the oil pan magnet will catch 'em? It is a 20 year old car, take out the tranny and disassemble cost the price of the car... |

Very unpleasant what happened there.
Flush won’t take all the parts out. It’s best to dismantle the transmission or change it for an other gearbox |

All these two paths cost the price of the car. I called many transmission services, they advised to let it go. Use the car, and hope. They advised to drop off the pan later, and collect as many metallic particles I can. It is a 50/50 game. |
