Infotainment screen dead and no parking sensors, BLIS, etc
Hi all. I hope someone can help me here. I have a Volvo V40 D3 XC Lux 64 plate bought last year.
It's been fine until the screen went dead and all linked systems, bar manual climate control, stopped working. Audio, parking sensors, reverse camera, BLIS, lane correction aid, etc, etc. It's been a real pain and significantly reduced the enjoyment of the driving the car, which I really like in all other ways. Dealership diagnosed that an audio module needed replacing at a cost of over £1k, but they didn't seem sure and when pressed said it may not fix it and then I'd need a while new ICM (?) at about the same or more again in cost. They didn't seem to address why so the other systems have gone as well, although my very basic understanding of this is that there is a linked system in place, i.e. the MOST circuit, and so one failure affects all the rest (sounds a great design). No other garage I've contacted will touch it and refer me back to the Dealership. Sigh.. Has anyone had experience of this, and could give me some pointers to either try first at home or with a specialist garage or auto technician? I would be so grateful for any help you can provide. Thank you Ian |

Had similar issue few month back. The infotainment is on fiber network. Under driver seat is the fuse box. In my case removing the 30 or 40 amp big fuse and putinng back sorted the issue and it's fine since then
