Default 2005 S60 2/4 D5 Sport Auto

Hi Everyone,

Sadly the time has come for my S60 to move on. I bought it to help a friend out who was leaving the country not long ago, but with 3 other cars already and a new baby at the end of next month I need to get it shifted. Not being able to get the isofix bars for it was the final nail in the coffin...

The car itself:
It starts first time, runs brilliantly still returning good MPG. Great condition for a nearly-20 year old car. A few stone chips and the odd scratch (will add to the pictures), but very very honest otherwise.
  • 2005 S60 Sport auto (OY05 UDX)
  • Just under 12 months MOT
  • 156,500 miles (increasing slightly as I use it)
  • Automatic 5-speed gearbox
  • Front heated 1/2 leather 1/2 cloth seats
  • 4C suspension
  • Folding mirrors
  • Telephone
  • Sat nav
  • 650HU with disc changer in the boot
  • Sunroof
  • Automatic lights and wipers
  • Rear parking sensors
  • 1 key

What I've done to it....
Most of it is covered here, I think:
https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=336796

I've spent a lot on the car and have always used good quality parts, INA, Gates, Volvo etc, no cheap rubbish.
Just in case I missed something in the post above, here's the list:
  • Wheel alignment
  • Replacement NSR door locking mechanism
  • Magnetic engine sump plug
  • Service (Oil, air filter & activated charcoal pollen filter)
  • Replacement rear brake discs, handbrake pads & springs
  • Replacement power steering pump & oil change
  • Replace drive belts, all tensioners/pulleys
  • Replace cambelt, all pulleys/idlers, crank pulley nut and crank pulley bolts
  • Replacement fog light bulbs
  • Replacement B4 servo cover (not yet fitted, but included)
  • 10litres of gearbox oil changes (JWS 3309!)
  • Drivers seat belt receiving hole missing trim
  • Replacement upper engine mount
  • Replacement torque rod
  • Replacement tyres x2 (Continental Premium Contact 6)
  • Wheel balancing x4
  • Replacement cup holder rubbers

The bad:
I'm being overly honest here, more honest than you'd get in the average advert...[LIST][*]The gearbox needs another flush and the B4 servo cap fitting. 2nd to 3rd has just started bumping when the gearbox is warm. No rev flaring. Otherwise "buttery" changes. I'm sorting the gearbox fluid level out at the moment as it's low, so it might sort itself out.[*]Fuel cap strap has just broken[*]The standard "Alarm service error"[*] The fan blower squeaks sometimes[*]The drivers side window buttons are cracked[*]The chrome is peeling off the steering wheel logo[*]I haven't and don't know when the brake fluid or coolant were last changed. The brake fluid comes back as fine on my tester.

I don't know what it's worth but I've spent a lot more on this car than I bought it for. I'd need about £2000 to recover my costs, but don't know what they're worth.

I'll come back and add some more photos. Please give me some feedback and pricing!
