Default Carpet - Restoration tip

Certainly on the P1800e and ES these carpets can be brought back to life.
They are of very robust construction.

This will sound somewhat unilkely and probably not something your wives will subscribe to, but there is always the laundrette.

With a good dose of good detergent, and I am mean lots, and a 60 degree heavy soiled wash (or two) they will come up smiling.

Despite the oil guage leaking oil on the light blue carpets of my donor car, a solid washing and careful hanging to dry restored them to good saleable condition.
I got the gross dirt off with the pressure washer.

The brown ones in my ES came up like new saving a small fortune.

Mine did not shrink at all - Just in case you were wondering and all the clips lined up.
