Yes, it looks like Luke has finally bagged this one. With Dave's PRV, my D24 and Luke's red block, between us we now have the set for the 760 mk2 estate!

We'd have to be careful of birth defects thogh such as a 2.3 4-pot n/asp diesel, 2.4 n/asp low compression petrol and a petrol 2.8 V6 twin-turbo.

Ooooh, hang on - i like the sound of the last one!

Oooh a D24 760! I didn’t know they made a derv 760, I’d love to own one of those one day. My diesel 940 has become my main daily over the last year or so, such an enjoyable drive and great on fuel, too.

Will pull astonishing loads too, I drove it across the country last month with two of us in it, two fully built karts in/on it, a sizeable trailer on the back with two more karts and several tool chests in it, ten engines, an immense amount of spares etc and god knows what else. Pulled like a train and didn’t miss a beat, an absolute mule!

Not just a D24 Phil, it's a D24TIC, only engine they fitted to the diseasel 760 variant as far as i'm aware. Same torque (235Nm ~174lbft) as the B280F but a little short of the B280E (240Nm ~180lbft) but at those figures, the torque is fairly academic as they'll all pull happily.

Only thing is, you probably use less fuel than me on a run but only just - round town/general pottering about, mine probably uses a fair bit more.
