Default Offering Free Photoshop Services!

Hello,

As per the title of this thread I'm offering to use my knowledge of Photoshop to help people out. I enjoy using Photoshop and want more reasons to use it at home so this seems like a good medium.

My plan is to have people PM me to begin the process from there I will send you my email address to which the photos and requests will be sent

I can do almost anything, touch ups, colour changes, ride height adjustment, wheel changes and more.

The edits are useful for desktop backgrounds, getting an idea of colour options before a respray or even just for some inspiration of what you may want to do to the car further down the line.

For example here are some changes I made to a photo of my own car.

1 - Here's the original

2 - Note the changes to the rust on the front wing and the distracting reflections on the body

3 - Here I've made the car body work pop away from the background without being too far towards HDR photography

4 - Finally, you can see the changes to the calipers, alloys and the plastics on the car

Hopefully some of you guys will make use of this and I'll look forward to seeing some requests in my inbox soon

Also for anyone that noticed the black car in the background it's my 306 Rallye ;p

LOL
I did think Simmy's comment was a bit harsh but it seems JosLozVolv can hold his own in the cut and thrust of the forum.
When I laughed at that exchange my wife asked what I was laughing at, she's the clever one of the family when it comes to things like photoshop, and she is suitably impressed by the work you've done in those pictures (even if sadly she's not too interested in cars).

Rather than fixing the photo why not fix the car to sell it?

One man's immaculate is another's functional and believe me after driving 2 hours to view a car to find its nothing like the photoshoped photos or description is a sure put off.

The idea isn't to Photoshop to photos to make selling the car easier.

It was more for personal use, say for instance you have a dent in the side of the car or rust bubbling on a panel and you're time is pretty important you can ask me to make the changes so you know if they're worth the effort.

Or if you'd rather not spend hundreds of pounds on a respray only to realise you preferred the colour you started with.

I'm offering people the opportunity to have photos edited, without cost, to their requirements.

Although I agree the oil tank is unsightly I only made changes that showcased what I assumed most people would ask me to make.

I think you're totally unsuited to photoshopping for adverts, just look on ebay for some classic examples of how to do that, where the shadows are in the wrong direction, the reflections show an industrial landscape while the background is a park or stately home, or the best ones where one end of the car appears to be floating 3 foot off the ground! Although you might have some fun helping biggbn sell his VW here

There have been a number of threads in the past where someone has asked something like can someone photoshop some Canistos onto my S40 to see if it's worth buying them? or virtually repaint the wheels to see if they prefer silver or black.
