Default 120 Seat Webbing

I would like to renew the webbing on the front seats in my 121 and was looking for a supplier.
Any ideas.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Jim,

I did my seats with some steel web from a VW Beetle rear seat. I cut it to shape and sprung them with springs from an old Z bed. Material costs were nil, but you may have to part with a few quid if you go to a scrappy for your material.
The result (IMO) is more comfortable and certainly more durable than the original.

Hope this helps,

Gordon

I used spring kit from SWEM.....Bit fiddly and needed some adjustment, but certainly lifts the seating position back to normal......Now looking over the the steering wheel rather than through it!!

Now that Ive seen what it looks like, the original webbing looks pretty straightforward to replace.

Cheers
Gerry

Pirelli webbing is available fro decent hardware shops and pretty much any trim supplier. You can either buy the proper rivet from a trim supplier or pop rivets with washers work like a charm.
