xc60 18" alloys - cheshire

Hi all,

Didn't want to hijack someone else's thread. Looking for a set of 4 i. excellent condition preferably ixion but will consider others. Just getting a winter set sorted out.

Hello Choppie,

I have a set of wonderful 18" Mantus rims. Genuine Volvo OEM bought from TMS Volvo, Coventry in Summer 2014. Used only across the winters of 2014/15 & 2015/16. Currently sitting comfortably on my tyre rack on the wall in my garage. They have Pirelli Scorpion Snow & Ice winter tyres fitted on them.

I am selling our XC60 in January 2017 as we have a Jaguar F-Pace on order. I can let you have the winter rims and tyres as soon as we return from our Austrian skiing holiday - so 10 January.

I have high definition photos of the rims, inside and outside. I can also tell you the remaining tread depth which is good on all four tyres. They are all in perfect condition as they are properly cleaned each time they are taken into storage and protected with rim wax.

PS. By the way, I wouldn't use 18" Ixion diamond cut wheels for your winter set. Diamond cut rims look beautiful but that thin lacquer across the cut metal is vulnerable to chips and salt water ingress. The slightest issue and you will have whiteworm zig zagging across your wheel. I have 20" Ixion for my summer wheels which is why I went for the 18" Mantus version for the winters.
