Default 1996 Black 850 T5 auto estate for sale

Hi all,

I'm selling my 1996 850 T5 estate. It's in the following ebay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=250472353169

Please look here for details and pics.

Basically, we bought the car in May as a workhorse as we are moving house shortly. Just after I picked it up, the ABS light came on. I've replaced the two front ABS sensors, and re-soldered the ECU as per the instructions elsewhere on this site, but to no avail. I've decided to get shot while there's still MOT & tax left (sept and oct respectively), as I don't have the time and energy to carry on with the process of fixing it.

It's a real shame as I love the car; other than the ABS, it's in decent nick, with good bodywork and a peach of an engine. Lots of money has been spent by previous owners (inc timing belt), and I have replaced the rear discs and pads.

We don't really need it (is a second car), and as it's not able to fulfil its reason for purchase, it's time to go.

I paid £800 for it and have spent about £300; the ebay reserve is £300, but I'd really like north of £500.

Feel free to make me an offer or bid on the auction.

We're in Orpington, Kent (near Bromley).

PM me if you like: alex.mears@virgin.net

Cheers,

Alex.

Default I bought the car!

and it really is very good. I have another T5 est. manual but unfortunately the clutch has gone so I bought this as I needed a car for a trip to france (honeymoon!).

Loads of service history, real good nick but will be passing it on as I am not mechanically minded enough to sort out the ABS light issue (despite all the threads and info on here). If you are still interested in it let me know...
