Interesting to find out that

Thumbs up

Gave mine a 'pre-polish' wash tonight.

I hope it is a better day tomorrow, so I don't have to dry it off again.

When I looked out the window this morning one if the headlamp wipers was stuck in the upright position. Not sure how they became out of sync. A quick squeeze of the wash wipe sseemed to sort it out.

If it's 357 the driver's door and bonnet could be useful spares. I really need a lockup.

Yeah but I guess they actually have Renault marks on them. The Charisma diesel is identical, all proper Volvo parts with 'Volvo' branded on them, like it had been transplanted out of an x40. The chassis is the same as we know - but same rail along the front of the engine bay with all the same brackets (didn't have a gas strut for the bonnet though, only a fold-up rod), same airbox, same washer bottle but a white cap, same brake and power steering reservoir, same brakes, same radiator and fans, same undertray, etc, bit weird really

Mitsubishi and volvo combined on a lot of ventures especially around chassis and suspension. Mitsubishi wanted a reliable diesel to sell so they used Volvos Diesel engine. I'm always keeping my eye out for one as they generally sell the cars cheap and at low miles as no one likes them

New EBC brake pads installed all round - ....Still trying to track down damn leak that slowly fills my spare wheel well up!!

Done 1st pass using carpro ceriglass with glass pad on rear window to remove scratches + Haze , as previous owner obviously couldn't afford a couple of £ to replace wiper blades. ....Still along way to go.

All fun - itll be boring otherwise

Todays job, new roof arial rubber seal, easy 5 min job, and the "new" rear wiper arm been adjusted to stop the butterfly effect.
Renault Clio wiper arm is a direct replacement!
