Default Headlights have a mind of their own

Hi guys, my drivers side headlight has decided to randomly turn itself on, irrespective of whether the key is in the ignition or not. Car had the CEM and REM replaced last year and had a new battery last week. The only way to turn it off is to disconnect the battery altogether.
Does anyone have any ideas.
Thanks

My first thought is the CEM , did you have the waterproofing mod done to it at the same time it was replaced ? if yours is a 2005 or 2006 ...

The thing is ... The Dip headlamps are fed directly by the CEM the wires dont go anywhere else . Did you have a brand new CEM programmed by the dealer , and any corroded multi-plugs on top replaced ? Hopefully you have a 12 month warranty ..

Had a brand new CEM fitted and programmed by Bridgend Volvo specialists, sometime last Easter. They even popped it up to Keith Price to check all the wiring. Hopefully they'll sort it under warranty.
