Default 700 and 900 Series in the Films

I wanted to begin a thread about sightings of 740s, 780s 960s etc in the films. Yes, Volvo Spotting!

Here's one to start with. I used my old 740GL (for the first time in many weeks) today to go to see a film called 'The Theory of Everything'. It's about the early years of Stephen Hawking. I smiled when I saw an old 740 in the same paint as mine, being used for a camping holiday in Bordeaux.

Every straight-to-telly yank lunchtime family filem uses as 740/940 estate to ferry squeaky children to school.

I was mildly aroused to see the baddie in Breaking Bad using one ... until I realised it was just a V70.

Have a look at this site, a great resource for finding out what cars have featured in what films: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles_make-Volvo.html

I did see that OBV. Inspector Morse and early Midsomer Murders are good for 700 spotting - I've seen saloons and estates (quite a few 200s too).
