Default 14T/16G hybrid turbo

For sale is a 14T/16G hybrid turbo, a direct bolt on for the 2.0T/T4. Properly mapped, this turbo will give an extra ~25BHP over a standard 14T and is an easy upgrade for the T4. The conversion was done by "CR Turbos" (have the receipt). The compressor outlet has also been ported. Next to no play in the shaft.

There is a tiny crack on the exhaust housing flange, nothing serious.

£175.

Yes, it's still for sale.

The 14T/16G is a popular conversion over on 30forty50.com. The car the turbo came from dyno'd 272 bhp, 306 ft/lbs torque @ Powerstation on a standard engine and MTE custom map.

To Afzalmj: Please share your wisdom to all. I'm verry interested on the moods that you made to your standard 14t turbo to make it a hibryd 16g.
If you can please write on this post all the moods you made to the old turbo, because I would like to do the same. Thank you.

AndyP did this years ago, first person to have the mod in the uk i believe, and asked CR to do it, its an amazing increase in power BUT its gets really hot, at one point the housing became translucent so you need a good inter cooler. I'm looking at doing this to mine
