GRAHH!! I would to buy it but my insurance company has now decided that the only way I can insure it is to cancel my policy and then restart one...losing the 10 months no claims (I'm about to hit 5 years). I really don't want to lose this

You would think at 27, nearing 28, with nearly 5 years no claims, no accidents or claims ever that I'd be out of the danger zone...guess not.

I would say good luck in selling it, but at 1300, you will sell it.

What kind of prices were you getting out of interest??

Asda wanted about 700 quid, which is ok, 950 to insure a 530D. My current company wanted 1400 for a new policy on the s40!

Wow that's high!

I've just turned 21, so soon to get 4 years no claims in a few months (touch wood)

Currently with 3 years no claims Admiral want £780 full comp for a T4!

£510 for a 2.0T lol

Move to London and they'll gladly quadruple that price for you.

This goes to show the state of our economy I think - it looks like a fantastic car, and if I didn't have an S40 already, and wanted to pay stupid insurance premiums, and was prepared to pay higher fuel bills, I'd love it. In fact, I was watching Top Gear the other night, and fancied a T4 project car for amateur race days - not yours mind, it's too nice for that!
