Default Lower suspension arms with Poly-bushes fitted

MOT fail today so on learning curve. My usual indie does not have a press so is quoting £280.40 for both new arms fitted, not sure if they are Meyle yet but have asked the question.

Price includes a rebate for old ones so I wondeed if anyone knew a supplier of refurburbished Poly-bush units I could give to garage to fit? I'd send old ones back.

Or has a member somehow have a spare set waiting to be fitted they could part with!

Or anyone know a garage in south who fits bushes?

I can polybush a pair of wishbones in under an hour and I'm not too far from you but...

I'm banned from fitting suspension parts to peoples cars until me and the missus move house

I will be selling refurbished wishbones as soon as the man-cave is up and running tho.

Bad timing I suppose.

At the moment, I use a workshop (out of business hours) which is very well equipped for rebuilding wishbones.

You're probably on a tight timescale but if you were to get hold of a pair of scrap wishbones and a set of bushes (new balljoints wouldn't hurt either), I could have them done and sent back to you the next day.

I'd recommend poly front bushes, Mayle HD rear bushes as wishbones with full poly are very difficult to fit.

Front bush from partsforvolvosonline are £44
rear Meyle HD bush is £15.30 each.
Ball joints are £21.82 each.

And that poly part number is correct but I'm not sure how they can charge more for the other 2 versions when they're the exact same bush lol.

Thnaks Martin but time has beaten me! Had to go with new arms, however I will hand on to old ones for next time or sell for others to refurb prior to fitting/MOT fail.

Default Still have my old ones

Are you set up for refurbing them now? I've still got the old ones. £30 if you can collect SP3 5AW. No doubt I'll need polybush ones in 18 months time!
