Could it be that the auto is changing things up frequently ?
Try manual and see if it quietens down.

I don't have the auto. I recall some people having this kind of issue when a sensor was disturbed. Someone more familiar will be along I'm sure.

Could be the Recirculate air flap adjusting if you have the Air quality sensor installed.

I remember mine was also playing a while ago.. maybe it was because the air quality sensor was failing? Since a while it has been silent (perhaps by now the sensor is completely gone). I always use the manual mode for the climate control.

Default Related questions:

1) What is the expected lifespan of the sensor?

2) When the system springs into "auto", how long will it stay on "auto"?

Early on I could drive behind a smoky truck and the system would close. I could repeat it.

I always took it out of recirc once clear of the bad air source so I never experienced it going back to fresh by itself.

Now my AQIS system does not react as fast.
