MMMmmmmm........

Not even taking it all the way round the rev range either, topping out about 4.5 to 5k rpm, just before the top end scream comes in.

Recorded by my passenger I hasten to add, with much sighing, rolling of eyes and comments about me being "sad". All true

Enjoy

Yep, fortunately I just love the noise and it does settle right down at a constant throttle.

That's on the standard exhaust too, it's all down to the polybush in the top engine mount, such a small change but such a big difference. Sounds almost like a big V8!

Cheers,
John

Hi,

I couldn't handle that on a long trip..
My V90 was that bad until new boxes etc were on the exaust.
Better now but still noticable.. Unless travelling @ 65+

I know what you mean, it did worry me at first but if you're gentle with the throttle and don't use a lot of the revs it doesn't make that much difference on long trips. It is actually quieter outside the car than inside, which suits me just fine, I like the stealth part of owning a T5.

Cheers,
John

Don't worry...I'd tape it too if I had an engine worth listening to! Unfortunately both my cars are slow beasts altho' the little V8 does rumble nicely
