I was in South China for four weeks, in Humen Village.
Most of the people in the town we were living in looked at us like we were aliens and the largest percentage couldn't speak English.

The hotel staff were friendly and multi-lingual.

McDonalds sold octopus burgers, which were very tasty!

The work site was massive, but has no HSE to mention. If someone dies on site, things just carry on as normal. Only the incident area is closed and everyone else just carries on working.

Sounds interesting they proberly never see a European Gary lol life in china is cheap there's another 100 thousand lined up if one dies. Whats octopus burger like sounds scrummy so you don't get the same Chinese food as we eat in Britain then things like chow mein and sweet and sour pork spring rolls etc.

Not usually like here. Many horrible looking things that I didn't dare to try. Chickens feet and fish head soup are two of many.
I liked their hot pot style cooking.
A pot of boiling water at each seat, pick your food and cook it at your table, how you want it.

Lol I think I'll pass mate but the boiling water food sounds good, my sister when her and her partner travelled through Africa they had to eat all sorts of stuff you just don't dream of here but like she said you either eat or go hungry so no choice she was a vegetarian but that went out the window she hated egypt ignorant horrible people, I imagine the Chinese are friendly people though we don't know how lucky we are to live in civalised Britain

The poorer Egyptians were fine but had to do what the richer ones told them, she said you could always tell the rich ones because they were fat horrible and ignorant. She won't ever go back.

The Africans poor as sin but they will go without food the little they have to make sure their guest is fed and looked after really lovely people and happy go lucky people which is a suprise considering they have nothing litterally nothing. Just the clothes they stand in basically
