Unhappy Such a bad day :(

Driving home on the M27 and get stuck in stop start traffic then the fu*king di*k behind me rear ends me. He was following me for a while and had stopped loads of times before. I bet he was on his phone or faffing around.

I'm pretty sure it's a write off. Bumper damage, and looks like chassis damage too.

I'm beyond heartbroken. I loved my T4

Not sure what the next step is now. I've taken tomorrow off work to have a good look at it.

sorry to hear about your day pal, not great when stuff like that happens.
hope that you are ok and no damage to you has happened....if it has then whiplash is the way forward.

have you taken pictures of the accident?????
volvos are quite good with rear end crashes so theres a good chance it might only be a bumper and a new boot and muffs and scuffs....just fingers crossed the rear quarter panels aint twisted.

not that simple if his insurance declares his car as total loss...some insurers allow you to buy the car back or a percentage of the money they give you, but some others dont allow you to break your car for parts and sell them if its a write off

When I'd had mine for about 3 weeks, my neighbour drove into it at about 15mph. Wheel well was bent, bumper smashed, but the assessment by the insurers was that it was repairable, and it was done. So dont give up hope just yet

Depends if they class it as a Cat D, C or B.

D or C he should be able to buy it back but a B is a total loss.

From a rear end low speed he's looking at a Cat D. Hopefully it'll be repairable. Rear bumper deffo. Know more once it's off. Keep us posted Alex. If you need any help give me a shout.
