I'm so upset and sorry to hear this. I hope you're okay.

Like the others are saying... Wait and see what the damage is.

On the other hand, this car on the forum sales looks beautiful...

I dont need to replace my car. My finances are dubious, I'm one day into a new job

And even I was tempted by that T4. If I had the cash I'd probably be driving it home sometime soon...

Really sorry to hear this Alex!

Doesn't matter how hard you try to look after your own car, you can never totally rule out the other careless idiots!

Hopefully given the circumstances you described it'll just be a rear bumper job and little more, and given the car's a good one it won't be written off...

Keep us posted!

Thanks guys, I'm fine - More gutted about the car!

I would snap Davids up very quick if it were an S40 and a different colour ( sorry, personal taste!)

Few quick shots from earlier.

I'm not sure at the minute if it's worse than it looks or repairable. I've had a look this evening, boot lines up still, as do rear door panels etc but there could be a lot of bent stuff under that bumper that I can't see. The bumper is almost touching the wheel which looks a bit concerning.

Cars going into Volvo tomorrow if they can make room for it.

I've given the insurance company a ring as they need to know I've been involved in an accident, at the moment they're persuading me to wrap the claim up quickly, take it off me and do an assessment. Pffft, as if I'm letting them do that, they'll probably knock the doors in and write it off within 5 minutes.

I hate insurance companies!

EDIT: Excuse all the dirt, it's not been washed for weeks. Mind you, with silver paint, a wonky bumper and maybe other damage I think the mud can be excused
