Default C70 Roof problem

Hi all, first post on the site.
Bought a C70 roof was fine lifted and shut twice, third time got stuck halfway.
Press buttons could hear motor but nothing happening up top, if you get my drift.
Anyway long story short, investigate leaking hydraulic pipe, fixed that filled up with oil, nothing no motor no action fuse OK but not working, any ideas people ?
Thank you for any info you can give me

Only an idea - no actual "knowledge" behind this - but if the roof got seriously stuck like you say it must have thrown a load of error codes. It might be that the roof control module won't do its stuff with all those codes telling it something's badly wrong?

Disconnecting the battery for a while might erase the codes and reset the control module.

Worth a go perhaps?

Otherwise, no other ideas...sorry!

How did you get the roof down, did you pull the pin with the lever under the back seat,

If so have you reset the pin

DCW might just have a point here, on my old C70 (my 2007) we had ongoing roof issues, like sticking halfway and similar, the fix was to disconnect the battery, and short the cars terminals (not the battery) across each other, to release any residual charge, then reconnect, that seemed to do the trick, much like rebooting a PC (et al)
you can only give it a go?
dont forget on the hardtop C70 its quite important to always let the roof complete its task (fully open or close) and not to "pause" it half way etc.
good luck and let us know how you get on.
