Default V50 T5 electric window .

Recently had a problem with my N/S/F window that stopped working, changed motor, no difference ,everything else on the door electrically works fine but today removed the fuse (83) for the drivers side electric window, and hey presto ! the passenger side works again.

So in essence every time i pull the fuse for the drivers side window, the passengers will start working again, and stop working as soon as i replace drivers (O/S/F) fuse.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this ?

Appreciate any input.

the drivers side has the window control module so could have a fault logged for that window and when you bin the fuse it bypasses it. if you haven't already try disconcerting the battery. failing that you could have a look at the members map for anyone near with a dice as that would let you know whats up.

good luck

Just in case anyone has the same issue in future,it turned out to be the drivers master switch, I bought a new one from Volvo and hey presto, passenger front window now works,as well as all the others . This is for the early V50 mk1.
