2018 V90 Sensus navigation question

For the Sensus navigation on a 2018 V90, are there basic maps for France, Spain, Italy or do they need to be downloaded via the map update. e.g If I'm only using the toll through EU countries does the North West Europe map cover main roads?

I'm fairly sure you'll need to download the European maps.

You might be able to check this by trying to set a destination in one of the countries you're going to and see if it'll create a route from the UK.

If I were you I'd just download the whole-of-Europe map set from the above link, that will install everything. I would be surprised if the car didn't already have all of the countries on there, even if they are no longer all up to date -- there's enough space on the internal disk to store all of the countries. You can always update individual countries later if you want.
