  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

No, they can be taken off an cleaned fairy easy. Not too big a job at all.

Never know the garage might even replace it for you as opposed to cleaning it (if they are paying)?

I swapped out the Throttle body on it. As yet, things seem ok. I went out for a blast and it's restarted every time without issue. The other throttle body was well crusty inside. I'm doing a decent blast out at the weekend, let's see what happens then.

That's the starting issue solved. It was the throttle body in the end. Thanks To all, it's saved a fortune. Volvo dealer were quoting £270 to fix it.... I did it for £80. Just the clutch to sort out now. These 2ltr Diesel engines are economical, 55mpg sustained on the motorway, well chuffed.

Brother Rasher, your lack of faith troubles me........ I've got the car back with the clutch fixed and throttle body cost back in a nice crisp cheque. Just ordered a bootliner...... Giving it a good test run tomorrow.... Looking good
