  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

That's right - only the one antenna for the fob & it is in the mirror - it is possible to reflow the solder, but not for the feint hearted and mighty expensive if you get it wrong - there are a number of companies that will reflow the solder, the one thing you can't do is replace it with one from another car - the module is coded to the vehicle, a NEW replacement can only be coded by a Volvo dealer i.e. an old/used unit cannot be recoded to another vehicle.

Thanks for the info. I didn't realise that it's coded in such an old car already :>

volvos immobilisers have been coded since around 1992 .. the actual receiver and most other electronic modules coded to the car since 1999
