Screen washer pump
Hello all, I have a problem with my 2006 V70 desiel - no washers working for the front or rear screen.
Can anyone tell me where the fuses or relays are that control the washer pumps? I have read other posts that mention FUSE 34 in the passenger compartment but that fuse is missing. The manual refers to it as WATER PUMP, HEADLAMP WIPERS (V70R) My car hasd no headlamp wipers, so I guess that is why it has no fuse. Does anyone know where I can find a circuit diagram for the washer circuits? I don't know if there is any connection but my reversing sensors don't work either. Any help would be most appreciated. |

Hi MPE,
Is it just the jet washers not working or do the wipers not work as well? |

So you need to look at fuse 34 in the CEM as the washer pump is driven directly from the CEM, there are no accessible relays associated with the washer pump.
fuse 34 is the bottom left of the 6 physically bigger fuses on the left of the CEM the same pump is used for both front and read windscreens its just driven in different directions for different outputs. |

Hi XC70Bob, Vida shows two pumps part No's 9169611, and another pump Part No 30699674 for high pressure for headlights.
Might be different for XC70 but not sure why it should be different. Sorry if this confuses the issue any |

Sensor reversing switch under N/S rear cargo area
Quote:
Pull out the cover over the lower rear lights. You will find a switch which turns the reversing sensors on or off; it sometimes gets switched off by accident when bulbs are replaced.

Hi ASt85. The switch for the rear parking sensors. I’ve had a look and nothing obvious in my 2006v70. Any chance of a pic. I’d like to switch mine off.
I looked just below the fuse panel on the passenger side in the boot. Thanks |

I need to see a picture too.
The alert my backup beepers put out is only 10% as loud as it was. |

Reverse camera switch
Thanks for the pics. I don't have that switch in my 2006 V70.
I have this (dog hair from previous owner, now all gone) |
