I have city safe and it has saved my bacon a few times. In france you have open rain water drains at the side of the roads. This is because you often get sheet rain which dumps a couple of months rain in an hour or so.These drains are not like anything you have seen in the uk. They are often two or three feet deep so getting a wheel in one is terminal. So driveways into houses have blocks of concrete over the drains so cars can drive off the roads into the house driveways.. People often try to cut the corner into a drive and end up with a front or back wheel falling off the road. City safe often tells me when i am getting too close to the edge. On country roads these rainwater drains are basically ditches. When grass is growing on the verge it is hard to see where they are. If a tractor comes up the other way is a gamble if when you move over to let it by , you are going to get too close to a ditch. City safe radar can see the ditch through the grass. I think its the badgers nadgers!

Spike you do have a very valid point.
I recently was driven in a new Tesla. So many driver aids, and 3 near misses in 1/2 hour. Driver had already forgotten how to drive. Same as flying an Airbus. Too much automation, not enough seat of pants Colin |
