Default S60 d5 185 2005 146k engine rattle when rev

So ive noticed when i rev my engine there is a rattle. Its not there at idle, Just when i rev the engine. It sometimes doesn't do it which is what is confusing me so much? Ive been under the car and checked for loose bits (that could vibrate/rattle) but theres nothing obvious. It gets faster as the engine is revved harder so its got to be something to do with the engine. Has anyone had this experience before? And if theres a cure? Tia

Vac pump, belt tensioner, alternator pulley, idler roller are good places to start...

I've found out today that my front engine vac mount is faulty. Will this be connected to the rattling noise i have?

It's not impossible thats the cause of the noise...
