Default 1999 V70 T5 -LPG- 12m MOT - £1000's spent

Very reluctant sale...I've been offered a great XC70 and my Mrs wants an Auto
Nautic Pearlescent
Black Heated Leather
MANUAL
Recent MOT with no advisories
BRC LPG system - cost £2k - totally efficient.
Wheels professionally stripped and refinished in Sparkle Silver.
New tyres all round.
Stainless Steel SCORPION Exhaust
Rare Strut Brace
DO88
Clutch and Flywheel replaced with gear linkage rebuild (change is like new)
Cambelt done 14k ago.
Tired of a million stone chips I had a Pro Respray to the bonnet and bumper
New Brakes all round
New Hub Bearings
PLUS much, much more....
Both sets of keys, bookpack and every receipt.
Stacks of History inc all old MOTs and Tax Discs.
Cheap Classic Insurance.
210k

£3000

Out of interest, where did you obtain a Scorpion exhaust?

I've looked but cannot find one!

Thanks for your comments, guys.
I'll consider a deal on an XC70 with cash your way....a long shot I realise but worth mentioning....I'm looking for an Auto only, preferably SE LUX, 2007 on.

I bought that exhaust for that car directly from scorpion. It was the last one they had in stock.
I bet if you rang them and begged them to make you one they would still have the jig or cad pattern....
You may just have to pay a premium.
Well worth it though, better sound, quality and look than any other exhaust you can buy.

James

Ps. Nice work mark the old brute is looking Smart.]

I am possibly in for the Scorpion make up if anybody else is - Saffy can only take so much gun gum, tin can and stainless zip ties before I have to call it a day

Hello Buddy !
Hope you and the family are well.
The exhaust is just sublime.....
Its been a big decision to sell as I'm still seriously in love with this car as I witnessed how much you were also. I just can't justify...
a) Keeping two big Volvos or
b) Using this one to go walking, camping and shooting in the Lakes.
For me the only alternative is an XC70 and my other half is wanting an Auto.
My son, who you met on the day I bought the car from you, had always said that if I was selling that he'd like first dibs, but in a case of bad timing, he went ahead and bought a V40 R Design just last month...! From Sheffield incidentally.

Was it 12 years you'd owned this one, James ? I've tried to maintain it as you had before....the maintenance history file is almost as impressive as the car !

If I have no bites, its no big deal to me to keep her.

All the best.
Mark.
