Transmission vibration from 2020 XC60 T4 in 2and gear

I've recently noticed a vibration/shimmy when accelerating in 2nd gear only - no other gears seem to be a problem. It is especially pronounced on smooth tarmac. The car is an 2020 XC60 T4 Edition with only 1000 miles on the clock. I've owned the car since new. Has anyone experienced the same issue? Thanks in advance. Nick

Since this is virtually a brand new car, I would take it straight back to the suppling dealer and let them find and hopefully sort the problem you're experiencing.
You might as well use the 3 year Warranty that came with your new Volvo that's what it's there for.

I spotted one last year on the lift at my local dealership, the service manager told me it was getting the gearbox replaced.

Lots of noise over on the US forum about vibration on new S60/V60. Most seems to be about foam filled tyres causing the problem but this topic found focused solutions to the problem. I realise this is for S60 but it maybe a useful leader for you?
