The sports key question is interesting in that I wonder if you get charged for a new fob at the end of your 2/3y lease?
I was thinking similar about the sports key. I have bought my car and not leased it, with the intent of keeping it 6 years (achievable with extended warranties and less than 15,000 miles per year). The sports key battery is unlikely to last more than 3 years. I note others have opened and changed the battery, but not sure I am confident enough on being able to reseal it properly! Would I need to buy a new fob after 3 years? Decisions, decisions...

I've tried a couple of these pouches. Both recommended online. They stop the signal initially but then I think the car gets used to the weak signal and works anyway. So the pouches do nothing besides stopping the key fob from being scratched. Might mean the battery goes quicker if the key fob is boosting power as it realises things aren't working initially??

I've started using the sports key as my main key now. I don't see any benefit to carrying around the bigger key given that you can just use the touch sensitive central locking function. Unless you really feel the need to remotely unlock the boot but....yeah, maybe once every 3y?!

My S90 was ordered in May 2019, built mid-November 2019 but not delivered until January 2020, with me taking delivery in February 2020.

So am I MY20 or MY21? I had assumed MY20.

Default Sport Key

Is there a way to see which models the Sport Key comes with?

The Sport Key - http://volvo.custhelp.com/app/answer...28sport-key%29

I got my MY19 Inscription Pro used and only got 2 key fobs.

They only come if you have keyless entry
Just noticed you have an inscription pro so you should have one. Did you get a box with the keys in, it should have been at the bottom of this box, there is a cutout for it. If it wasn’t there you need to contact your dealer

I contacted VoC through the App. They confirmed that my Late 2020 XC90 has the later more secure key.

That's an issue I have outstanding with my dealer. Bought a pre registered V90 R Design (registered Jan 2020) on 1/3/20 with 24 miles on clock. Technically 2nd hand but realistically new. Only received 2 keys (keyless entry). Only realized it as we went into lock down so e mailed dealer and got bland centralized reply. Intend taking up issue next week as dealerships re open. I can see the wriggling now

If the battery goes flat you can't get into the car with the sports key. Having said that I use the sports key for everything. I'm quietly hoping it dies just before the 3 year warranty is up.

You could remotely unlock the car with VOC, then the key will work to start the car if you place it in the centre console over the key symbol
