where can I find out how many t4s were produced in what colours , and is there anywhere that offers a guide on how many of each colour is still roadworthy in the uk

Well there's at least one roadworthy (paint code 329-Pure Silver Metallic) 2001 S40 T4 Sport Manual and I love driving it.

I've a 2000 Y reg V40 T4 Manual Sport version

The trim can be a right old mix up, since the first owner could pick items to make up different combinations from the packaged versions in the brochure.
