Despite being registered on here for years, I've only posted 13 times so I cant PM you. Annoying. Here is what I was trying to send:-
Post 102 talks about downloading VIDA if you buy the DICE interface? How much is the interface? or can I not get it separate. Quite interested, as like you mention numerous times, sick of going to my local specialist for diagnostics.... and paying for in effect nothing. Cheers Simon |

Any of the above Vida solutions are free with the purchase of a Dice interface @£100. I also have already set up laptops if your current laptop is unsuitable to run the software. These are an additional £150. Which one of the above solutions you need is entirely dependent on your current hardware so I can't recommend one over the other. You'll just need whatever you need. If you want to read your car, you'll need the Dice interface. If you don't want to read your car and want the Vida software only, I'm not really the person for that but there are free options available with a bit of research.

Actually, I see you send a link for a downloading the VM. I guess that has Win 7 professional within it and I don't need to set up it myself.
Maybe I can do it after all. Si |

Don't worry about not understanding for now as the instructions I provide will explain everything. It's more about whether your processor can run a VM. On the Windows 10 desktop search bar, type "system information" and open the system information function and it will give your full processor model name and number and the amount of installed RAM. Let me know both of these please. On Windows 10, the only alternative to install Vida other than a VM genuinely is complicated and I can't offer any support for that so let's check the simple route for now.

Hello
Bit of positive feedback from a very satisfied purchaser of a laptop with Vida and Dice from Cheshired5. It will only take two visits to a dealer for paid diagnostic services to have paid out the equivalent of the setup. If you work on your own vehicle it's a no brainer. The transaction and comms were fantastic. Cheers very much. |
