Error Codes

Hello again!

I have a 740 glei H plate, and Ive got an error code from the on board thingy me bob, how can I find out what the code means?? Is there a book or something I can buy??

is it just a light on the dash? if so whats it look like?

Hi

Most of the fuel injector error codes can be found in the haynes manual.
I have also seen some codes on the technical pages at the swedish brick site.
Do you know what error code you have, the computer fault diagnosis stores up to 3 prevoius errors. You can reset it and then see what current faults you are getting. Post the error code if you can (made up from 3 numbers 1-3)

I have a fuel problem at the moment the code it gave me was 1-1-1

Any ideas??

Hi

Ok 1-1-1 is listed in the haynes manual as NO ERROR.
This is either good news or bad news.
Good news is you have no error bad news is it doesnt help sort the problem you are having with the fuel.
By the way when you are using the self diagnostic unit make sure you have it plugged into hole 2 to test the fuel management.

hope this helps a little a least you know what the 1-1-1 now means.
