V70 2.5 Auto 1997 for sale, with just 67850 miles.
Volvo V70 Auto, 2.5 (2435cc) R. Reg, 1997.
Low low mileage of just 67 850 miles. Electric windows X4, Electric Sunroof, Cloth interior. C70 16inch alloys with 4 good tyres (2 front tyres are new). Complete new exhaust system (including cat) fitted by previous owner, but it does sound somewhat "Beefy". Boot Liner and Load cover. 3 Keys, full V5 in my name and address. Mot September 2017. This is not a "show car", it will be 20 years old this August, therefore it does have the odd blemish. Most notably is a slight mark/crease on the lower rear door (drivers side) see photo. Also a slight indentation to the front passenger door (curb side) see photo. There is also a stain to the foot well carpet (drivers side). Please study all the photos, to satisfy yourself of the overall condition. You will also notice that the car is "bone dry", when i took these photos last weekend. I dont need to throw a bucket of water over my V70, in order to enhance its appearance! Reason for this reluctant sale?...I own 4 Volvos...2 of them must go. Not advertised anywhere else at the moment, just thought i might try on this forum first. Location is Kent - approx 22 miles South East, from the Dartford Tunnel. No "Tyre Kickers", or "Dreamers", or "Messers" please...The first decent offer over £1000, buys my car. PM me for my phone number, to have a chat...Cheers Paul. Some photos then. |

Hmmmmmmmmm...you could be right?!
Its a job to know what price to ask for my V70? I tried to find a similar spec(for comparison) with this sort of mileage/condition/history, but couldnt find one anywhere??? I did find a couple of low mileage S70's on "Fleabay"...one(62 000 miles) was up for just under £3000, an the other(70 000 miles) had just be reduced from £2000 down to £1500. Forgot to mention, the V70 is taxed and insured, so i would welcome test drives Edit - something always slips the mind...The ABS light has a mind of its own, comes on, goes off...you know the score...quite a common trait. Just trying to be transparent here. Last edited by lovejoy489; Mar 13th, 2017 at 23:22. Reason: Forgot to mention ABS light. |

Lovely car!!! Although very surprised at your asking price, would agree with it being too cheap!! It has to be worth at least £1500 any day!

Its one thing to set a certain value for a car...but a car is only worth, what someone is prepared to pay for said car, on that given day. I advertised the car for £1250 on Gumtree, a price that i thought was fair...but apart from 2 "Tyrekickers", i didnt have a great deal of response??!! So i reluctantly turned to "Fleabay"...which although seems rather expensive to advertise, certainly "hits" a much much wider audience. The auction ends tonight...as it stands, my V70 will sell. I set a reserve price of £1100, but lowered that down to £1000. The reserve was reached yesterday...its sitting on £1000...if it sells for £1000, then yes, i will be gutted for sure. Ive had well over 2500 views, heaps of emails asking for a "buy it now price"...But we all know how many "Dreamers/Messers" lurk "Fleabay", so i didnt set a "Buy it now price", Im just going with a normal straight forward honest auction. Lets hope i get a flurry of last minute bidders, and my V70 reaches a more sensible price..............otherwise as it stands, it will sell tonight...and i may just feel a little gutted............................It drives wayyyyyyyyy better than my 940 SE Turbo Estate too!
