Default Throttle Body problem.

Hi,

I've been told by my mechanic that the magnets in the throttle body are faulty.
My S40 used the Mitsubishi engine. Here are the details:

Part reference number is: EAC 60003
The part is a Mitsubishi part. (Mitsubishi engine used in the Volvo 1.8 gdi )

Complete number shown on the part is:
(044) EAC60-003 1326 0612 Mikuni

Here’s some information which may be of use:

Part must be the ‘Electronic Version’ not the ‘Fly By Wire’.

Ref: Throttle Body.
Volvo S40.
2001
1.8GDI
Chassis number: YV1VS26751F756216
Reg No: 01D62602

I'm finding it very difficult to source the part. I don't want to purchase a new part as I've been quoted as much as €680. For some reason all of the car dismantlers Ive contacted only have the Fly By Wire version?

Any idea where I could obtain one?

Regards

John
