As it turn out, the rear jet doesn't spray, but the motors fine - could be the hose has worked loose somewhere along the line and is spewing soap everywhere! Will check tomorrow

Two ports of call for you.
There is a non return valve in the rear drivers side pillar. That was blocked before stopping the rear washer from working. Check under the panel that houses the CD changer. There was a small leak before coming from the roof rails screw hole and water was gathering in that area. I had thought i had it sorted it though
