Hooray mot passed again two rear springs a loose filler neck(petrol) and hand brake adjustment £190 for another years motoring,says will need rear calipers and hand brake cables next year

That's amazing. The Volvo Service light you can turn off yourself when the garage forgets.
Got MOT next month and hoping the eco-warrior in the MOT station will pass it this time.

Just checked over my 2001 V40 for the upcoming MOT. Looks like I'll need a n/s/rear drop link. That's it. For a 16 year old car. I wouldn't have a new car even if I won the lottery!

Yay! Just passed the MOT. Advisories were front o/s strut top movement and rear n/s drop link...
Now, do I get a new clutch and flywheel fitted? Anybody know a rough price for dual mass flywheel and clutch fitted and is it a subframe out job? |
