PCD adapters
Afternoon, I have some nice wheels for my 1990 240 estate is like to fit. They are however 5x114. I’ve seen some plates that change the standard 5x108 pattern. However they are of evil bay. Can any one recommend a good place to get some.

There are a big range of volvo wheels for a 240 I would find ones that take your fancy rather than bodge something which is most important for safety .

Thanks for the reply. I understand they are not for everyone. I would like some new wheels but the sizing am afrer and style I can not find. Ideally I would like no bigger then 16inch (I really don’t like big wheels) |

Superforma. Dont use anything less.
Been running Superforma 5x108 to 5x114.3 adapters on my car for 3 years and not had one single problem. I run a 30mm rear and a 20mm front because my wheels are a 17x9 ET35 and 17x8 ET38. My arches are pushed right back and its tight at the rear with the 9. With a 17x8 ET38 at the back I had bags of room with the 30mm spacer....but more is always more and I had to have the 9s. |

I didn't have to with my wheels but my mate did. It depends on the back of your wheel. His are flat so caught the wheels dn needing trimming whereas mine have little pockets and didn't.

Unfortunately mine are flat. Would 30mm spacers clear the hub studs? Ideally I’d like to stick at 25mm. Am happy to trim the studs if need be.

Yep 30mm will clear. Its only the 20s which wont and they only catch marginally. Trimming them down solves the issues on 20s.
