Default v70.98 awd flashing orange arrow,lamb light on

Hi everybody,not been on here for a while
have had v70 off the road for about 10 months.needs new shocks and mot,lost me job and could not afford to get it done so have kept it sorn till the day i could get it done,guess what now is the time back to work.right unuth of that.
started her up needed to jump her and it started ok but the lambarder light came on and the orange arrow is flashing aswell as the liitel orange light on the winter button.drives ok throttel needs looking at but she goes like a buillet,considering she has been sitting for atleast 10 months doing nothing.
i am going to get her serviced and mot in the first week of may.
anybody got any ideas.

Orange arrow & the light on the winter button would indicate a problem with the auto box

Could be a dirty PNP switch on top of the auto box if you do a search on here there is a thread about the PNP switch

Do you know anyone with a code reader

Might be worth trying your "usual" garage...assuming you use one of course.
Before I got my own reader, the garage that looks after my V70 would, and did, read my codes for NOTHING.! (generic codes only of course)
