Can someone on the forum please recommend which Diesel Fuel Cleaner is best to purchase and how much of it to add to the tank ?

Also when added do you let the engine idle ? For how long ?

Thank You

LeKat

Don’t waste your money. Keep the motor well serviced and run it on decent fuel and it’ll be fine. Some say these so called injector cleaner as nothin more than snake oil so to speak. I’ve used it in the past and I’ve seen no benefit from it what so ever. If your motor is running ok then leave it be.

^^^ What he said.

Don't waste your money.

Some in-tank additives as an octane boost do have some benefit, but you might just as well buy the premium fuel (or use a 10% petrol mix every now and then, which I know is controversial but lots of people still do it...)

In tank cleaners are snake oil. If they were any good, they would dissolve the crud in the bottom of the tank and fuel filter and then drag that through the high pressure pump and injectors - not what you want.
