Have to admit, I've never been to an Aldi store, not got really local ish, but definately worth going in to have a look-see I guess as I have heard you can generally get some decent buys in there.

250kg lift? How heavy is a Volvo engine?

Hiya,

when my engine got delivered on a palette it was listed as 300KG but we decided this must have been wrong and they meant 300lb since 2 of us were able to move it about. So that makes it 136KG I think.

This was an engine with some ancilliaries but no gearbox as pictured here:
