Default 2 different rear light clusters for post '93 models, why?

I've been looking at some facelift 440/460's on the web and noticed are two different rear light clusters on them and wondered whether that is an easy tell-tale indication of any trim revisions or updates etc.

I've downloaded some press packs and they refer to updates, first for the major facelift and then some further enhancements around '95 but the rear clusters were not specifically mentioned.

One style, which seems to be for '93 - '94 (?) has the reversing light inset and therefore you can see a red edge to the assembly from the side of the car

The other style, which is for another period, has a longer reversing light inset such that you can see the white edge at the outer edge of the unit.

I've attached 2 pics to show what I mean.

Can anyone shed any light on this (no pun meant)

Thanks

Ahh, so it's just a style change and doesn't really mean anything else - thanks
