Default 2.0 480 cambelt

hi there,
just bought a 95 480 2.0 which i intend to do a full service on when i get it home. having only really worked on 200 series volvos! is there any things to watch out for when doing the cambelt, water pump etc on the car or is it relatively straight-forward??

Nick

Nick,

Just had a quick skim read of that cambelt guide. Before removing the old belt, mark the top and bottom pulleys' positions with tipex, unless there are clear marks already on the engine. Compressed valve springs may try to rotate the cam when the old belt comes off, and obviously you need to be able to return to the starting position. (Aplogoies to the author if I missed that in the write up).
