Did it get scrapped afterwards?

Mid 80s (A-reg I think) blue 240 estate in the film Pride. It was owned by a character from an impoverished Welsh mining village during the miner's strike, which I thought was a little out of place. I guess it was supposed to place the film in 1984/5, but it would have been brand new then and presumably quite an expensive and desirable car. But then I pay too much attention to cars in films!

Simon Stålenhag’s paintings often feature nice old vehicles amongst the futuristic sci fi ones, and - as he's Swedish - a fair amount are 240s.
