V50 General : - V50 Volvo on call

Hello all, Ive just bought a 10 reg Volvo v50 SE LUX registered in May 2010. It gets delivered on Friday. The car has tons of toys e.g. sat nav, heated memory seats etc... what it doesn’t have is 'Volvo on Call'.

Does anyone know if this can be fitted as an accessory? and if so how much does it cost.

You need the integrated phone and sat nav to have On Call so I'd doubt if you can have it as an accessory. All it does is put you though to an operator if you break down and as it's linked into the sat nav they can tell where you are. I believe it also calls them if you crash and advises location, if airbags deployed, which ones, etc.

The integrated bluetooth option if you have it far more usable more of the time anyway. Be aware that every bluetooth car kit does not work with every bluetooth phone. I have an HTC Desire and that's not officially supported but works perfectly.

Hi Thanks for the info. It dosent have the integrated GSM phone but it does have the integrated bluetooth. Any idea where i can find a list of compatibale blutooth mobiles?
