Push the piston back as normal and replace everything as normal. Once the car is off the ramp/jack, start the motor and pump the pedal a few times to bed the pads against the disc as normal. Then, press the park brake on then off three times.

No computer. No warning lights. No hassle.

Hope this helps.
Don’t remove the electric motors as the torx screws are very close to the plastic motor, corrode badly into the caliper and risk damage to both screws and motor housing. Just unplug the connector and use a 9v battery and a couple of wires to electrically wind the motor back. I posted pics in another thread that show this.

Can the calipers be set to a service position on a code reader like Icarsoft?

https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...47#post2694147 Just check out the thread above and just use a 9v PP3 battery. You can achieve the results you need for less than a quid!

As TeamG says. Before removing the caliper, a 9 volt battery and a couple of leads onto the motor terminals after removing the wiring plug. The hardest part was removing the plug.
