Need Help with VOL-FCR
Hi,
I really hope that some one can help me. I have a V40 from 2000 and the air bag warning light is on all the time. When I aplly power to the car, the red light is on for 5 sec, and then "goes out" for ½ sec and then comes back on, and stays on. I have purchage a VAG-COM USB OBD2 interface FTDI and have the VOL-FCR 1.3.0.6 The interface works, I can communicate with the car and read almost all DTC's. All but one, the only one i bourght it for, the SRS light. When i hit the "start comms" it can connect to the unit, everything semms fine until i hit the "Read DTC" it writes in the text box " invalid data" Then I thourght that it might be the the program cause it says that it is for V40 from 97-98. I went in on ilexa.co.uk to download the newest VOL-FCR 1.7.3 VAG-COM USB demo. and choose again V40 97-00 But it says that "no ivalid USB device found" followed by a "runtime error 53, file not found VAGUSB.DLL Then i tryed VOL-FCR 1.7.3 FTDI USB demo And it say when i push the "start comms". "No valid USB device found or more than one devise present" I am really lost so if any one knows something I havent tryed out, please feel free to write. Best regards JTrier |
