New car ordered...

Placed an order today for an XC90 R-Design B5 in Bursting Blue with:
Harmon Kardon
Xenium Pack
Intellisafe
7 seat Comfort Pack
Full Leather
Rear heated Seats
Towbar

March 1st delivery, although it will be delivered end of Jan/Start of Feb, I figured I might as well wait.

It goes into build tomorrow! Maybe even a PreChristmas delivery!

I have a test drive of a XC90 Inscription Pro T8 booked for tomorrow prior to possibly ordering mine. Not sure an hour test drive is sufficient for anything other than a general feel. If that goes well might ask for a couple of days. Need to see if those seats really are comfy or not!

I would definitely recommend having the car for a weekend or so as I did and spend a bit of time getting the seat settings right.

Congrats its a wonderfull car and you ll get the latest software update where you can see in driver's display the charging status of the mild hybrid 48v battery.

Test drive went well - a really nice car to drive. Now for the decision. The dealership have a XC90 Inscription Pro T8 on order as a demonstrator. They can still change the spec on this up to 3rd Jan. So if I give the go-ahead next week, I could have this upgraded to the spec I want and have delivery on 7th March. Otherwise it is likely to be nearer to July. Decisions, decisions...

Are they quoting 8 months now for T8 XC90 lead times now?

My lease is up in about 12 months, and it will be same / similar again as the car suits us very well. Seems like I’ll need to be ordering in March April and that’ll be around in a flash...

It depends upon whether you believe the dealer or not! I actually want mine for the end of April, so am tempted not to take the risk but instead take the plunge now.
